Maya 2017 - Render to Texture - Multi UV set

In Maya, I have created a mesh with two UV sets. "uv1" for diffuse colour, and "uv2" for lightmaps.

I would like to Render To Texture the second UV set "uv2". I'm not given any options, and Arnold always seem to render the first UV set.

How can we get Arnold to use the second UV set when baking textures?

Hello, you won't be able to do that yet. Supporting different UV set for Render To Texture was implemented very recently and will be included in a future release.

Thanks @Sebastien Blaineau-Ortega for the prompt response. We will look forward to it!

I was able to get around this issue by moving the second UV set above the first one.

Go to the "UV Sets" panel in the bottom right of the UV Toolkit. Right click and "Move to Top" on the second UV set and then Arnold will bake to that UV set. I think it just sees the first one it finds.

I ended up relinking the texture to the second UVs then rendering. I will try to rearrange the order and see if this works. From memory I tried to do that before without much luck. will try again. Thanks @Lyndon Munt

Note that this feature was released last week in MtoA 2.0.2.2
