Hi!
I just realized that some parts of my renderings are extremely slow and only on 15% cpu usage. After some research, I found out that the aiTriplanar nodes are causing this speed reduction. I'm on Maya 2017 Up. 4 with Arnold 5.0.1.1, Windows 7 64bit, dual Xeon E5s and 128gb ram.
Is it possible that the Triplanar node from Arnold doesn't support multithreading? The alTriplanar node from anderslanglands works perfectly fine and fast.
This is likely a texturing bug that was recently fixed and will be included in the next Arnold bug fix release.
