Intersecting Maya Fluid containers produces lots of noise when rendering?

Hello, I have made a simple cloud using maya fluids which I have caches out and duplicated around my scene. When rendering, the areas where the containers intersect produce a lot of noise compared to the rest of the image. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing that would fix this? I tried increasing the volume depth and the volume samples, as well as reducing the volume step and nothing solves this problem.

Thanks!

Need more samples for volume...

Can you show your sampling settings?
In lights, render settings and you volume step size value
