Texture blurriness

Textures in Arnold are always a bit more blurry than in the standard C4D renderer, where they look much sharper. Changing the diffuse blur settings in the renderer or the sampling in the in the Bitmap shader doesn’t change anything. How to adjust the blur/interpolation of a texture?

Try options.texture_max_sharpen 9999

Thanks Stephen! Where to set this option? Is this working only with tx or also with other formats such as JPG or TIFF?

Btw, when connecting an animated texture sequence via the bitmap node to Arnold Viewport, it doesn't update the animation in the viewport. In a similar C4D material, the Editor>Animate Preview has to be activated to playback the image sequence. Is there something equivalent in Arnold?
