htoa render camera background image problem

209-qq截图20170916201613.jpg

htoa粘贴相机背景,使不出来。 但玛雅粘贴相机背景地图容易呈现出来。

Hi,

The native camera background image parameter is not supported at the moment, I've created this ticket to follow up.

You can however achieve the same effect with a background shader, attaching corresponding sample scene:

Hi Fred. Im having problems with this setup. I have glass refractive thingy that is suppose to refract the BG image. Seems like the BG image might be partially in front of the refractive object? Is there option how to set where the BG image is in terms of depth to camera?

with sky and assigned texture

with your setup

Hi Martin,

That's expected because the UVs only depend on the screen position. The easy workaround is to project the texture on actual geometry.

This is expected with a background shader as the UVs just depend on the screen position. A workaround is to use actual geometry with a camera projection shader.

@Frederic Servant: Your method fails when you add an Arnold shader to the objects since the background image then shows through.

@ You mean the background shows through an object like glass? You can make the background not-visible to transmission rays
