Diffraction CD in Arnold / Maya

Hi.

After a year, when I switched from Mental Ray (RIP) to Arnold, I wanted to repeat the result of diffraction grating on CD. This render was done on the tutorial "Diffraction Grating in Maya"

How can this be implemented in Arnold?

What do you get when you render that shader in Arnold?

Have you tried the Facing Ratio shader?

There must be a highlight from point light. And depending on the position of the light, the position of the flare changes.

That is, two layers: the first is the base, where the gradient is slightly visible. And the second is a highlight.

No, Facing Ratio did not try. I will need to do a couple of tests. Thank.

In Mental ray there was a shader mib illum ward, which gives a separate highlight. How to do it in arnold I do not know. This is certainly not the result that I want. Used Specular Anisotropy.

Have you tried a ramp -> specular anisotropy similar to this tutorial?
