Convert Heat Map to Displacement c4dtoa

So have some recordings of pressure mapping, and I need to use them to accurately displace a plane's geometry. I'm using c4d, I can get it to displace just fine, the online issue is...yellow in the image used for displacement. The heat map image is ranged from white, blue, green, yellow, red. So because of the yellow, I'm getting dips in my in m displacement mapping output in the render when it should be a higher elevation ramping to the red.
I'm looking for a solution that would allow me to load the image > convert or assign the 5 colors a value > output to a ramp > then use that to displace. I'm not sure if that's the right method.
Help, ideas? Anyone?

I guess I'll explain a little further. Is there a way to associate the colors gradients to a mix shader then to take each color from the mix shader and assign a value, then have Arnold range the values smoothly through a ramp? @Neil Stringer any ideas?
