Exact same Maya file. Completely different rendered image. WHY!!!???
What versions of MtoA? And you should check the Arnold log from both renders. And Maya 2107 has a lot of changes for color management.
The difference is I get a much darker image in 2015 than in 2017. And it's not a straight gamma correction issue. I played around with the scene scale and got close but not the same. But the issue is I shouldn't have to change anything.
Interesting...both my Maya2015 and Maya2017 are reporting the MtoA version as 1.4.2.2
Hi Manny, could you post some images so that we know what kind of differences you're talking about ?
There have been major changes in MtoA for Maya 2017, regarding color management.
You'll find more details in the documentation
Hi Sebastian, I can't post an image. In crazy delivery mode. But I surmised that it was a color management issue. I was hoping it was a straight gamma correct in the comp. But it wasn't. So we wasted a lot of render time tracking this down.
