Toon issues with edges and bitmap textures

So I've been playing with the AI Toon Shader, and been pretty impressed with the results. One issue I'm running into though is applying texturemaps to various edge properties. In short, they don't work.

As shown above, applying a procedural checker map to Edge Opacity works just fine. but no dice when it comes to a custom-made bitmap file. I can't get any results at all to work with Angle Threshold.

Let me know if there's something I haven't accounted for. Really looking forward to working with this toonshader in the future.
