material texture emission not showing up in Environment atmosphere_volume

Hi, Im new to Arnold. I have a (.jpeg) texture that is driving the emission of a shader. It correctly illuminates the scene but the emission from the texture dose not effect the environment atmosphere_volume. The other lights in the scene do show up in the atmosphere. Is texture emission supported in atmosphere?

Emission is not supported with the atmosphere volume. You can use a texture in a mesh light or quad light instead.

Hi there, I have a city scene with many buildings all with emissive textures... Is there a work around to get the emissive textures to affect the fog with Arnold? Would be nice to get the interaction to work in the render rather than cheating it in post.

You have to use a mesh light or quad light to interact with the atmosphere.
