No Alpha channel

My scene does not render an alpha, in arnold preview, as exr, batch render, nothing.

In a brand new scene with just a sphere I can get an alpha, so there's something about this scene I've been working on...

So I reverted back to the first version of the scene and it too will not render an alpha channel. Anyone else ran across this? I've tried everything I know (render setting has alpha channel checked, I've removed all AOVs I had, reassigned Lambert1, I've made a basic cube just like I would do in a fresh scene).

No idea what to try now or how this occurred

The scene is using the contour filter. When you use the contour filter, you won't get anything in the alpha except toon edges.

Thanks for taking a look! I am not familiar with that. Where is that located, how do I turn that off?

@Lucas Ridley In the Render Settings, on the Arnold Renderer tab, in the Filter section.
