Cinema 4D Arnold Render looks different

Hi guys, I am trying to create the effect from this clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1519&v=jLcdXkLUx38 where the object goes though a jelly like bubble To animated it I have used Collider body tag and Soft body tag with Turbulence applied. The problem is that the process window (on the left) shows somewhat my desired result however the IPR window (on the right ) seems to ignore the my desired deformations applied to the spheres. Anyone knows of possible solution?

Deformers are not supported when Arnold does the subdivision. Simply add an Arnold tag to the Subdivision Surface object which will export the deformed subdivided geo from C4D, as described here:

1.zip thanks a lot

Message 12 of 16

wooh, the key is we should make it editable

Message 13 of 16

I guess it renders wrong only in the IPR because of the Dynamic Body simulation. Should be fine if you cache the simulation.

Could you share with me how you got this to work? I'm still not able to solve this.

Message 15 of 16

Peter can you share what solved the problem here? Thank you!

Sorry for the late reply. What I suggested here is just adding an Arnold tag to the Subdivision Surface objects, so the final subdivided geometry is exported to Arnold rather then doing subdivision in render time. If that's not working for you, could you please send me your scene to take a look?
