constant fatal errors when trying to create tx's with the tx manager
No update, because no additional information was provided.
Tx Manager doesn't crash on my machines.
Is it a specific texture file? What's logged when you make a tx? Can you run maketx on the command line? What OS do you use?

Hi, sorry fo the late response. I don't see anything in the script editor or output window. Have also tested on multiple machines. Tried an empty scene with a single texture and it caused a fatal error. Dragging and dropping files onto the maketx.exe seems to work though. Not sure how to run through command line?
If you increase the Arnold log verbosity, there should be something printed the Arnold log.

Drag-drop onto maketx is kinda like running from the command line
cd C:\solidangle\mtoadeploy\2018
maketx -v -u --unpremult --oiio -i example.exr -o example.tx
Not a known issue.
What's logged when you make a tx?
What happens if you run maketx from the command line?
maketx -v -u --unpremult --oiio -i example.exr -o example.tx
