Hi,
Is it possible to use conditional statements in a shaders' metadata file?
E.g, for different options in a dropdown, I'd like to specify different min/max values for other parameters.

No, the metadata is basically just IDENTIFIER=value, there's no conditional statements.
That kind of thing has to be handled in the custom UI code of the DCC (eg the ae templates in maya)
