Proper archive export for motion blur in Houdini

I have a bullet simulation for breaking windows. I've cached the simulation to bgeo.sc files as packed fragments. I am trying to render them to a .ass archive for rendering on the farm in an Arnold procedural node. When I turn on motion blur while creating the archive, I get no geometry in my render when the fragments start moving. I've tried loading them as packed fragments when saving the archive. I've also tried unpacking them and making sure they have a velocity attribute and saving them to an archive as regular polygons. I have not been able to find a way to render animated packed fragments in an Arnold procedural with proper motion blur. Any thoughts?

You could try rendering out alembic files using motion blur, and then bringing in the packed alembic geometry.

Otherwise do you have an example scene we can look at?

Cheers,

Julian
