How to achieve the flickering of the fire appearing on the surrounded objects?

When rendering a fire simulation with fluid in an interior hall (maya2017/arnold2.0) the fire simulation dont emit significant light even the settings in the fluid emitter/container were set to point light and are far way up? How to make the fire visible on the objects around/emit much more light?

Click on the white color and enter the value (V) there.

Hi. I must have missed something but where/how did you enter values of 20 and 40? Your jpeg doesn't seem to make this clear and I'm faced with the same problem.

You could try increasing Incandescence in the fluids shading or you could just fake it with lighting if your interior hall is massive. Below shows the difference between a value of 20 (default) and 40.

You could also increase Indirect Diffuse for the interior hall shader. However, this is not recommended as it is not physically accurate.
