Shadow Matte Problem

Hi,
I'm trying out MAXtoA and I have scene with a Shadow Matte applied to a surface.
The problem is that, it is visible as black in my reflective object.
I don't have this problem in MtoA.

Is your Specular Ray Depth above 0? I get black when mine is 0:

Increasing Specular Ray Depth fixes it:
