I want to randomize the particles emitted from x-particles.

In the Arnold Parameters tag there's a size parameter. How can I randomize it?

Maybe you can generate scale variations in the xp emitter and not in Arnold. And you can randomize the particles colors too: https://answers.arnoldrenderer.com/questions/112/how-do-i-randomize-and-take-control-of-particle-co....

Hi, Carlos,

I have tried randomizing the scale in the xpEmitter, but it is ignored by the Arnold parameter tag unless I use a generator, but in that case, the scene becomes heavy. I'm trying to find a solution that avoids using geometry in the generator to keep the scene light.

The Arnold Tag has a Radius multiplier that only considers particle Radius and does not consider particle Scale. So use Radius to set the size of the particles in the xpEmitter instead of using Scale. This will give you what you need.
