Changing object mask tag AOV name doesn't update render settings AOV name?

Not sure if this is a bug.
C4DtoA 2.5.2.1
Arnold core 5.3.1.1

I have an object mask and it has been added to the Active AOVs list in the render settings. Next, changing the object mask tag name and then looking in the Active AOV list shows that the name didn't change there, remaining as the initial name. But the new name the object mask was changed to shows up as an entirely new AOV in the <custom> section of the Inactive AOV list. Shouldn't the AOV's name in the render settings Active AOV section be updated to the new name?

Also the AOV name doesn't appear to update in the Inactive list either when it's in there.

The workaround is to delete the object mask tag, reopen/refresh the render settings AOVs window, then undo the object mask tag deletion.

It's by design, currently the object mask tag and AOVs are not linked, the name is the only connection and manual setup is required. I'll revisit this code to see what could be automated.
