is there a way to map the specular normal on the Standard Surface?

is there a way to map the specular normal on the Standard Surface? I remember using this quite a bit on the alSurface but it appears that on the standard surface, only the sheen and coat normal are exposed. Would I rather just rely on the coat? how does the coat differ from the specular?

thanks, I was thinking of doing this. does the Coat differ from the specular or is it just a 2nd specular?

Yes, a second clear coat specular.
