i have a wired thing going on in a ASS export.
if i export my geometry i get this line and have no idea where this use_shadow_group option is coming from:
polymesh { name /obj/ass_export1_tmp_nodes/geo1/polygons matrix 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 shader 2 1 NODE "/shop/WOOD_MAT/standard_surface1" NULL use_shadow_group on shadow_group "/obj/arnold_light1"
does one of you know what it does and where i can disable it?
the problem with it is, if i add a light for instance, this option will produce an error.
i've never heard shadow groups before and couldn't find something useful in the documentation.i tried to repruduce this in an simple scene, but never got this option...

A shadow group is the group of lights that cast shadows from the object.
So the Houdini scene has some light masks or shadow masks.

i couldn't find the issue yet. the scene is to big and i didn't set it up.
but i found a workaround and can keep working.
