Arnold glass is coming out a black/silver colour

Hi, I am re-rendering a 3ds Max 2020 scene using Arnold 3.2.65 but the glass is coming out a black/silver colour. The original render was done with VRay and the glass is more natural-looking. I have tried the Standard Surface Material and added the Arnold properties modifier and cleared the Opaque checkbox and also the Physical material with the Solid Glass preset which has a slight improvement but both are dark. Does anybody have a solution for this? Thanks, Peter.

Please see a sample Arnold & Vray renders below:

Think I solved by increasing the Transmission Samples to 20 in the Arnold Render Dialogue. It looks ok in the Render Preview Pass.

Transmission samples should only be used for glass with rough refraction, but your glass doesn't appear to have or need that? Did you try the default glass preset?
