OCIO ACES Color Spaces

Arnold v2.6.1.5 and v3.0.1 C4DToA

R20 changing color spaces in image textures doesn't make any changes in ipr until you restart it(start/stop ipr), It changes in the preview window tho'. Here's an example https://ufile.io/dgymfrbq

Thanks for the video. Definitely seems like a bug, I actually have an idea where the problem is. Will take a look next week.

Okay cool, by the way, what can the OCIO roles that were added in Arnold 6 be used for.

Roles are basically user friendly names or aliases of existing colorspaces. For instance the sample ACES config defines these roles:

  color_picking: Output - Rec.709
  color_timing: ACES - ACEScc
  compositing_linear: ACES - ACEScg
  compositing_log: Input - ADX - ADX10
  data: Utility - Raw
  default: ACES - ACES2065-1
  matte_paint: Utility - sRGB - Texture
  reference: Utility - Raw
  rendering: ACES - ACEScg
  scene_linear: ACES - ACEScg
  texture_paint: ACES - ACEScc
