Alpha Channel Question - Reflectance

Hi all,

I'm currently adding a label to a box. Alpha channel works fine for me here no complaints.

My question is: is it possible to get a similar effect to physical reflectance/conductor to get a Gold appearance for a white text label?

I'm having no issue with the label over the box itself, but I stumble when I attempt to take a Gold texture and attempt to have it over the white label.

I have tried using a matte-- to no avail. I am sure it is possible, and probably embarrassingly easy, but it seems to be eluding me.

Thanks for any help you can give!

Tyler

Have you tried the Mix, Layer or layer texture shaders?

I'm an idiot and so just ignore this whole bloody thing. lol

What worked for me was instead of trying to stack the textures, just adding the wrap to the alpha of the silver/gold texture alone, and boom. worked like a charm.

Thank you!
