Maya 2019.2/Bifrost/Arnold 6

Hello, I am not able to get bifrost to render with Maya 2019.2 and Arnold 6 (4.01). I have started with a new file, new prefs and imported a bifrost example from the Content Browser and it never renders and gives me the error: # Error: line 1: [mtoa.translator] bifrostTranslator: Arnold node type bifrost_polymesh does not exist.

Doing the exact same process in Maya 2020 renders correctly. What may be causing this? Thanks.

You need to install Bifrost

I'm having the same issue, but installing the latest Bifrost doesn't fix. Any other way to find the root of the problem?

Hi

Can you start a new thread? This one is two years old.
You'll need to get an Arnold log with verbosity level set to Info, so we can see whether or not MtoA loads Bifrost.

Will do! Thanks. I did make a post, but it hasn't gotten any "attention" yet. Will start a new post now with the Arnold log in it.
