Why is "Light Shape Visible" gray? Unusable

My English is not good, but help me .

That is to be used with the other light types. You will need to add an emissive shader to the mesh light shape.

At the moment a mesh light isn't visible. You need to create an Arnold material with Emission and apply it to your geometry that is emitting light.
