How to map textures on cylinder light ?

Seems to be there is no uvs on cylinder light unlike the quad light.

I've tried with the projection method without any success ...

Does someone know a trick or there is just no way to map something on a cylinder light ?

Cylinder lights are not texturable. Right now, Arnold supports quad and skydome lights only for mapped textures.
