I am used to being able to drag multiple image files into the c4dtoa network editor and have them populate as nodes. unfortunately, I recently got a new computer and this functionality has stopped working correctly. Now when I drag multiple images in, it creates a single node in the network editor and the rest of the images are opened by the c4d picture viewer.
what gives? is there a setting I need to change? Any help is appreciated.
In Windows 10, with R21, drag drop gives me one node per file. The nodes are created one on top of the other.
That's with a default C4D install, no preferences or customizations.
Seems like an issue with Cinema 4D rather than the plugin. If I use a third-party file manager, drag & drop works fine, but not from the File Explorer (win 10). The drag event is simply not delegated to the widgets. I have the same behavior with the Picture Viewer as well, dragging a file from a third-party file manager works fine, but does not open when dragged from the File Explorer.
Hi Alex, I'm in contact with Maxon regarding this issue, but unfortunately they can not reproduce it. Can you please confirm that this is not specific to the Arnold node editor and you have the same behavior when drag & dropping files to the Picture Viewer? Even if Arnold is not installed.
