Suddenly getting watermarks?

watermark.jpgYesterday I updated C4D R23 with SP1. Last night I rendered an image sequence using Arnold without issue, but today I am getting watermarks on my IPR despite the fact that my license manager shows I am signed in and my license is valid.

I am running up against a deadline, and I need to resolve this ASAP.

Thanks in advance,

- Willie

We need to see an Arnold log for an IPR render.

Thanks Steven,

So right after posting this, I started having behavior ranging from odd, to catastrophic amongst numerous applications on my machine. I realized that this all started happening after installing a shared storage app called 'Mountain Duck' for my new job.

Basically every app I use which is either server dependent or has a proclivity to 'phone home' was seemingly unable to do so. An hour of computer gymnastics, gnashing of teeth, and curses hurled into the void I have managed to purge the offender, and repair that which it broke. So, I seem to be ok now. This particular symptom was simply the first to rear its head.

Cheers

- Willie

Ok, glad you found the problem, because that would have been hard to troubleshoot. Not impossible, but it might have taken awhile...
Mountain Duck may have been blocking communication between Arnold and the license service running on your machine.

That's my assumption as well
