Resolution depended VRAM consumption

Hi,

In Arnold CPU consumption of a RAM is not depended of a resolution of an image.
However in my working tests I see that increasing resolution significantly enlarges occupied VRAM amount of my 3090.
For example image 2000x948 takes 4GB of VRAM
Image 10 000 by 5000 takes 8GB of VRAM.

Please keep a note that scene doesn't have any textures applied on objects and there are no differences in mipmap resolution etc, only geometry and HDRI.
Also bucket size doesn't have any affect on memory like in Arnold CPU.

Is there any solution to avoid this drastic enlarging of used VRAM?

Thanks

Resolution does take more memory.
For example, 8192 x 8192 uses more memory than 4096 x 4096

I just tested that on my machine, and checked the memory usage in the Arnold logs.

Higher resolution means more samples, which takes more memory. And if you then add in more AOVs, that's even more memory required.

Arnold GPU doesn't render in buckets.

Would it be fixed in some future releases or it is the way GPU version of Arnold works and that thing is not changeable?

If "it" is buckets, that's the Arnold GPU works.
