Hi,
Is it possible to use multiple UV sets in htoa on packed geometry?
Currently I have a secondary uv set named "uv2". If I use "uv2" in the uv set parameter of the image shader it only picks it up if the geometry is unpacked. I would expect the vertex attributes to be carried the same way as the point attributes when the geometry is packed?
How should I be doing this?
Thanks,
Zeno

This should work, for example the included file has two uvsets, the geometry is packed, but it's unpacked at render time and uses the uv2 set.
Do you have a different situation?
Hi Julian,
Looking into this some more. It does work when using your method. However, when I export it through an alembic rop & load it back in, it doesn't pick up the uv2 set. I didn't change any settings in the alembic rop/import.
Any idea why this could be happening?

Hi Julian,
Your example does work. I will try and replicate it since it doesn't work on my end where it's read through an abc cache.
Will investigate, thanks for the working example.

For the alembic, you need to specify the extra uv set when exporting e.g.
