Arnold Error 1114 on Startup. CPU to old? (Supports SSE 4.2)

Hello,
I have a problem with Arnold MaxtoA 4.3.1.20. I'll get a couple of Error 1114 Mesages, and once Max GUI is there, some Max Script Messages. Is it because the CPU is too old?

(Tried to render a project onan old gaming PC I had around, because I need my laptop for other work right now) The CPU is an Intel Core2Quad, I bought around 2006, and the GPU is a GTX970 (MSI). I thought this should work, and I don't care much about the render speed, I just need to outsource this to free my Laptop.

Everything was updated on April 4th, 2021. Did uinstall everything, and reinstalled.

.Net 4.8

C++ 2015-2019
Nvidia Drivers 465.89
3DS Max 2019 all updates
MaxtoA 4.3.1.20

I did a scan with the suggested coreinfo tool, and it reports that the CPU supports SSE 4.2

Attached are the Error Messages; Coreinfo Log and Nvidia Drivers log.

Thanks for any insights and help.

This is most likely a missing DLL dependency.

You could use Dependency Walker to check.

In this [noisy] screenshot, I've highlighted what to check:

Thank you for this helpful reply. I ran a test in dependency walker, and it turned out as expected, Got these error messages:
Error: At least one required implicit or forwarded dependency was not found.
Error: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in an implicitly dependent module.
Error: A circular dependency was detected.
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.

th API-WIN DLLS where missing, and also the Max Dll's.

But I checked, and they are in the Max folder, same goes for the Arnold files. Everything is where it should be. *scratches head*

It looks like your CPU does not support SSE4.1. Notice how it doesn't have an asterisk on the SSE4.1 line or any of the newer instructions. The AVX-512-F, for instance, did not exist in 2006. The fairly modern CPUs that I use don't even support that, so that is a good indication that the * is needed.

SSE2 * Supports Streaming SIMD Extensions 2

aw man I can't believe I missed that:

OK, makes perfect sense... I mean the CPU is 15 years old.
Let's blame it on coreinfo then, being bad at communicating info 😉
colors would help - or a yes /no appendix.

Thanks everyone. I'll get a new gaming PC then.
