Arnold not showing in the menu

Hello,

I've installed a trial version of Arnold to Cinema 4D S24 but it doesn't show in my menu. I have the MacBook Pro with M1. I've restarted C4D and the Arnold folder seems to be in the correct location. What could be the problem?

Thanks for the help!

Update: Resolved. The problem was that I thought C4D was already running via Rosetta. It wasn't. The solution was to select "Open using Rosetta" in C4D's Get Info dialog (right-click on Cinema 4D application).

So you have to run whole C4D in Rosetta to be able to run Arnold? That means you don't run the optimized M1 C4D version I guess? which is a bummer. Or can an application Partly use Rosetta? Guess not..

Yeah, that’s unfortunately the case. At least for now. Other than that, it has been stable except occasional problems with the texture preview in the C4D viewport.
