MtoA - Displacement bound not found in log

Hi there,

I'm trying to fix displacement bound problems on some assets.

When rendering the scene on our farm, I get the bound values in the arnold log, but when rendering in local, there is absolutly no lines about [disp] padding in the log.

Renders are launched with the exact same verbosity level.

Is there a way to get this data in a local render?

Can you post logs from both machines? If everything is exactly the same (software versions, verbosity level, textures) you should see the same warnings.

Unless you're looking at a log from IPR, where you may be seeing just the log for the AA=3 refinement pass (the disp stuff would come before the AA = -3 refinement pass.

I was actually rendering using the IPR. Rendering a frame using Render Sequence or Batch does log the displace data as expected.

Is there a way to get those informations while launching a render from the Arnold Render View?

Thanks

Yes, here's one way: https://arnoldsupport.com/2021/04/30/mtoa-getting-an-info-level-arnold-log/

The other way would be to disable Progressive Refinement in the Arnold Render View.
