Light - Transmission & Cam Contribution

Hi,

I've noticed that the light types "Spot, Mesh, Distant, Photometric" don't allow for control over "Camera & Transmission" contribution. ie. they're disabled by default

While Camera isn't super important on these lights, I could imagine that "Transmission" is.
Any reason why these are disabled?

Thanks,
Andrew

Most of those don't have geometric representation in Arnold. Mostly there just a few parameters that drive sampling. Even a mesh light isn't an emissive mesh (mtoa fakes "mesh light visible" by making the associated mesh visible and assigning a shader).

Ok, thanks!

I could've sworn it was available in Maya, but I see it also isn't—memory didn't serve me correctly there! 🙂
