I've spent a few days on this but still no luck, So concerning Ai Standins, Im having a hard time rendering them at a farm. The stand ins just aren't working properly and render with a grey texture. This
is the closest recourse I have found to fixing it and I followed it exactly. but still no luck. Does anyone know what Im doing wrong?
Ive attached some images of my issue below, as well as one of the render (the plants with texture aren't stand-ins) any advice with this would be amazing.
Cheers

I cannot really tell from screenshots. An Arnold log for a render might show more info.
On the render farm, are you rendering ass files or Maya scene files?
If you're using ass files, the texture search path + relative path has to exist on the machine where you export the ass files. Otherwise the exported ass file will have an absolute path.
Does that D drive exist on the render farm?
Yeah at the farm I'm using .ASS files in my maya mb scene. However I seem to have found a work around, which is to add an assignment shader to the geometry in file contents. after that all I needed to do was rebuild the linked files into the new shader.
There was a way to mimic the scene structure at the farm I'm using to create a d drive hierarchy, but unfortunately that didn't work for me.
In the end though it seems to be up and running although in an unconventional way. Only problem for me now is this particular scene is now rendering with an arnold watermark at the farm... don't think that ones my fault though the farm might need to reboot their licenses.
Thanks for the reply!
Rereading the original post, I see that you also say the textures are missing. If the standin loads but the textures are missing, that means the ASS file itself was not saved with relative texture paths.
For the licensing, it's either the render farm license setup or the maybe the scene has Render with Watermarks enabled?
