How do I output the Denoicer Imager as a separate Image?

MtoA 4.2.3

Arnold 6.2.1.1

Maya 2020

I can successfully add an Imager to the Render View but when using Batch Render I am not able to get the denoised image to be output as a separate file.

Denoicer settings:

Layer - RGBA

output suffix = "denoised"

I've tried to add a custom AOV output set to "RGBAdenoised" but it just comes out BLACK.

Should I set its 'driver' to be something other than a png? Should it be set to mtoa_shaders?

What am I doing wrong? Can Imagers not be output using Batch render?

Are they only for Interactive renders?

If not, how do I set the pipeline in MtoA?

The output suffix gives you a separate channel, not a separate exr.

Thanks Stephen!

Is that the only way to go about it?

Is there no way to output any other format than a multi-channel EXR?

Also, would you know if the other imagers, like exposure for example, work the same or do they modify the beauty directly?

Any chance we can get an option to export the denoised image into a separate folder like it used to? It would be easier to organize and I don't know any software the could split the channels.
