My boss set up a scene with some columns that would crack open revealing a glowing interior geometry. He wanted them to cast god rays, so we set up an standard volume for the emission to cast into as a quick test.
However, the emission was "omnidirectional" so iit just sort of crated a uniform glow, not the narrow rays he was envisioning.
Is there any way to "focus" emission or geolight such that it emits in a nearly parallel pattern to the geo normal?
