Keep the same Ral color in difference scenes

Hi

When I am rendering oure 2-Stroke Engien, I have problem with the Green RAL6019 Colors, It does not look like the green colors we are using in oure company. Is there somthing I am missing here? or is it just a matter of tweeking the colors again and again Also If I used the side camera to make a side view it gets more dark in the colors. of caurse the shadows is playing a role here but i am not satisfyed.

See the pictures.

Thanks for your help.

Best regardsral6019.jpgposter002.png

Can you share your shader settings and/or a simplified scene somewhere?

Can you screenshot the shader? Do both diffuse and specular samples/ray_depth need to be so high?

If you put a simple sphere in that environment with the shader, do you still see the color difference? If so, then we can use the simpler scene...

How is the scene being lit? That will obviously affect your base_color too.

Set the coat_IOR to a similar value to that of specular_IOR. It would look more realistic with some specular_roughness and a small amount of coat_roughnes. The specular_color might be influencing the base_color. Try it with the default white. I guess you are avoiding metalness to avoid changes in the base_color? It might look better if you have some but it is up to you.

Can you delete the geo except for a small chunk and upload that somewhere?

I see that you are using color management. This will obviously affect the green color. You could try rendering without it if you want to match the green that is not color managed or choose a different view transform. More information about ACES and color management is here:
