ARNOLD CINEMA 4D VER. 4.0.01 ISSUE

I would like to know if the known limitations in the release 4.0.0.1 of ARNOLD for CINEMA 4D will be corrected, especially the part concerning the conversion from substance material to arnold material because it is very useful for me. Unfortunately due to the many limitations listed I had to go back to the previous release.

We have an open ticket for support the Substance shader in the new node editor. So, that is something we plan to do.

The limitations refer to the new Node Material support. The substance shader and conversion is still supported in the Arnold Material as in previous versions, you don't have to revert only because of this.

Ahh, you're right, it's broken in C4DtoA 4.0.0.1, apologies. It will be fixed in our upcoming hotfix release.

Fixed in C4DtoA 4.0.0.2. The Substance Shader is still not ported to the new Node Material, but if you convert a Substance Asset via the utility, it will create an Arnold Material, like in previous versions.
