thank you for your reply!-I am using C4D, and I know that this tutorial is for Maya, but surely this can be created in Cinema 4D,?
BTW, the third image from the left, up top, reminds me of the late great sculptor, Fredric Hart-his work was featured in "Devil's Advocate" -unfortunately, I'm not cultured enough to have recognized his work, but saw some of his miniatures at a gallery in Miami, your work is stunning, if I can get half that good, I've done something, thx man
Sure. Please share your results!
thx again, this is the video that I was initially referring to; I don't know French, but will watch again, to try and figure things out, ( thumb's up)
Hi Lee, thank you for all of your help, thus far!-still trying to deconstruct the tutorials on-line, and looking/creating/experimenting with textures, the "head shots" that you created are wonderful, a great inspiration' if/when I crate something worth showing, you'll be the second one to know, ( after me ; ) ), Best, Cz
I made this tutorial. If you need more help I could try to translate it to English. @Craig Zuckerman
Hi Cedric, thank you so much!-I do not see link here, is there one,? I'm sorry if I am missing something, please let me know, would've to keep trying to emulate, Lee's awesome approach, his results are quite provocative!
I meant, I made the original french tutorial you are referring to... which I thought anyone should be able to follow, even without understanding french, as it is quite self explanatory, and I point out to the documentation (in english) where i found the information about using this technique.
Thank you Craig.

my big issue, was/is finding good textures to use to displace, being that Arnold is image based? anyway, as all things digital, I'll never completely master this, but I am trying, ;)-and thank you for all of your attention to my questions
