Opacity (transmission) MtoA

Just asking if this is correct. The output works fine.

I plug in a greyscale map to Transmission Weight where black is transparent and white is opaque. The transmission color is the base color map.

I would try Opacity here.

@Lee Griggs

thank you. The issue I have with opacity is that I can't get the colour of the transparency to show. So if I put the color into the transmission color I get that colour shining through but with opacity it seems to be transparent or opaque

@Lee Griggs

Thank you for the reply.

Yes I made up a new example (attached if interested) and for whatever reason its working fine.

(opaque off added to let the light shine through)

thanks again
