How to reduce color bleeding in Arnold for Maya 5?

Hi - I'm attempting to light an interior using area lights at the windows, Most of the walls are beige, but one is purple, and I feel as if I'm getting too much bounce/color bleed off that wall.

How do I reduce this color bleed effect? If I understand correctly, this was a possibility using the bounce factor value in Arnold 4 - but I can;t find this value (or an equivalent) in Arnold 5.

Any tips or suggestions gratefully received 🙂

There is indirect diffuse in the Advanced tab of Standard Surface.

Alternatively, you could reduce the indirect visibility of a particular light.

An old thread but I have found this, select the shape you want to exclude from "bleeding" and uncheck those in the
Arnold>Visibility panel:

Diffuse Reflection
Specular Reflection
