Issues baking texture in C4dtoA

Hello, I have problems baking textures (or render to textures). I have several elements in the scene and I am baking them one by one for a vr scene. In some of them the bakes are done correctly and in others the maps are absolutely black or very dark in all their aov's. They are not inside a cloner, they are pure geometry and with their respective uv channel. Where can I be having the error? Thank you very much for your help.

I'm not sure what's going on. Can you send me the scene to take a look, or a simplified version of it?

Hi Peter, thanks for your reply. I solved the problem. My version of Arnold is 2.4.0.1. I solved it, generating a new uv map. I do not know why in some geometries Arnold does not like the existing map and when it is, the channels come out black or black with the silhouette of geometry. On the other hand I think also have found a bug. In the Object Manager, if the name of the object ends with a period, baked maps export corrupt, they are files with no extension that can not be opened. If instead you modify that point for a different one, the export is successful. Attached screenshots in chronological order.reporte1.jpgreporte3.jpgreporte4.jpg

I would also like to ask you how I can regulate the quality of the bake. Is it directly related to the samples in the render settings? In some geometries there is some noise in the maps and the composition of the "Beauty" does not have the same intensity that I see in the render. Thank you very much for your answers!

Sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure either why the original UVs did not work. If you can send me the geo, I can take a look.

The quality of the bake depends on the samples. The camera AA is defined in the bake dialog, other samples are from the render settings.

Thanks for reporting the issue with the file names, I will fix that in an upcoming release.
