It seems that all the interpolation methods in ramp in R20 shows the same result. Great problem if we want to use the ramp in conjunction with the utility shader in object id mode to obtain specific colours in clones for example. Because the old interpolation "none" is now "step" but not working as expected. All the interpolations results in smooth transitions.

Indeed, something must have changed with the ids in the gradient UI. Will fix this in the next release.
You can enable Sampling in the ramp shader as a workaround. It will directly sample the gradient UI instead of translating the interpolation method to Arnold. It's designed for methods not supported by Arnold, like the Blend mode.
